Big Improvements to Cytidel’s Data Engine

We’ve completed a major uplift to how we extract, tag, and present vulnerability intelligence across the platform.

Instead of adding more sources, we’ve focused on getting much more value out of the sources we already trust. With improved AI tagging and data handling, we now extract 4x more relevant intelligence - faster and more accurately.

What's new?

  • 4x boost in relevant intel – We’re now much more likely to detect and tag CVEs when they’re mentioned in trusted sources like news and social media.
  • More vendor and product tagging – Our CVE enrichment now captures more vendor/product links, and does so much faster.
  • Smarter, cleaner event history – We’ve redesigned how we track and display CVE events. Every change is now stored, giving us a strong foundation for deeper analysis and alerting.
  • Refined CVE detail pages – You’ll see a clearer breakdown of event history, plus a new graph showing the EPSS score over time.
  • Improved CVE search filters – You can now filter by vendor & product, date identified, and date updated.

What this means for you

You’ll likely notice:

  • More social and news mentions per CVE
  • More accurate risk scores and vendor tagging
  • A cleaner, more informative view of each vulnerability

These upgrades also lay the foundation for upcoming features like custom alerting tied to your tech stack and the launch of our public API.

Thanks for being part of the Cytidel community. We’re just getting started.
